With a focus on Precision Cuts, Hair Extensions, Dimensional Color, and bold, fashion-forward tones, Chelsy has built her career around mastering color theory, precision techniques, and the craft of creating seamless, natural-looking hair extensions.
Chelsy began her hair career in Austin, Texas, at the start of the new millennium. Working in one of the city’s leading salons where she helped it to win back to back CitySearch Awards as the top salon in the yearly poll. During this period she gained experience in everything from bridal styling to precision cutting, establishing a strong and versatile technical foundation. Guided by a legendary pioneer in hair systems, techniques, and extensions, she received immersive training that helped shape both her expertise and creativity. While many of her peers were still finishing high school, Chelsy had already completed that milestone and was competing in Texas’s highest-profile styling competition, The Style Cup. “You either walk or you’re all talk” - Chelsy Binyon.
In 2004, Chelsy moved to Colorado and became part of Boulder’s energetic salon community. There, she continued advancing her abilities through specialized work in advanced color, corrective services, and challenging color transformations, including blonding. After spending years in the area, she has embraced the mountain lifestyle and now provides Lioness Hair Design clients throughout the greater Denver area with luxurious, high-quality hair extensions, cuts and color.

Her work combines technical precision and individualized care to create beautifully designed looks that highlight each client’s natural beauty. From seamless extensions to complete color transformations, she is devoted to helping every client look and feel exceptional.
