Mary wanted to keep her length but soften everything around her face, so I added shorter face-framing layers starting around the chin with a soft, wispy fringe instead of a heavy straight-across bang. The goal was movement, softness and a little lift around the cheekbones and jawline while still keeping her long hair intact. The finished shape has that modern butterfly-layer feel with curtain-style bangs, giving her a fresher, lighter look that feels youthful without trying too hard.
